Performing more than 550 heart operations in children and adolescents as well as about 800 cardiac catheterizations annually, the Department of Pediatric Cardiology and Congenital Heart Disease is leading the way in Germany and ranks among the best European heart centres of its kind. In addition, the program offers in- and outpatient treatment for adults with congenital heart defects and features on-site services in: CMR/CT, Interventional, EPS, Inpatient care, Consult Service, Research, CT surgery, Heart Failure, Transplant (heart/lung), Pulmonary Hypertension, and Marfan clinic.
