| Program description |
The Fellowship Program can be individually structured and will include Trans-thoracic and Trans-oesophageal Echo training, diagnostic left and right heart catheterizations (about 50 per year), congenital MRI/CT training, and some exposure to structural heart disease interventions. The ACHD Fellow is expected to participate actively in the ACHD Clinic (~ 75 patients per month), and also to be involved in the in-patients care (~ 20 per month). It is a fully funded,
clinical and research Fellowship position. |
| Research |
Cardiology Fellows who have completed the Cardiology Training Program are invited to apply for the ACHD Fellowship. There are ample opportunities for research in the ACHD Unit, but also in collaboration with the cardiac MRI service, Pulmonary Hypertension Unit and the Marfan Clinic. |
